Log cabins and pine lodges have become practical and attractive holiday homes of choice in Britain. People like their cosy interiors, the natural wood sound-proofing and wood covering most surfaces; sometimes even ceilings.

Pine lodge holiday accommodation is very well designed to create a suite of rooms – all of which will have wooden flooring, albeit with scattered rugs.
There will be a living area that may contain a dining table, a glowing wood burner and be furnished with comfortable sofas around a television. More expensive up-market properties will have expensive kitchen appliances, perhaps a sauna and jacuzzi.
Most holiday lodges have their own veranda or decking outside with easy chairs where holidaymakers can sit and enjoy any sunshine or read a book in peace. Some have saunas and hot tubs.
